Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-03-01
Article 1 (Purpose)
These terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Roviq (hereinafter "the Service") and users regarding the use of dynamic QR code redirect, static QR code generation, and related services (hereinafter "the Service").
Article 2 (Definitions)
- "Service": All features provided by Roviq, including dynamic QR code generation, static QR code generation, short URL redirect, scan count tracking, and URL modification.
- "User": Any member or non-member who uses the Service in accordance with these terms.
- "Member": A person who has registered and holds an account with the Service.
- "Content": All data entered or stored within the Service, including target URLs and QR design settings registered by users.
Article 3 (Effectiveness and Modification of Terms)
① These terms take effect when posted on the Service or otherwise publicly announced.
② The Service may modify these terms within the scope permitted by applicable laws, with notice provided at least 7 days before the effective date. Changes unfavorable to users will be notified at least 30 days in advance, and individual notification may be made via email.
③ Users who do not agree to the modified terms may discontinue use and cancel their account. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
Article 4 (Provision of Service)
① The Service is provided 24 hours a day, year-round in principle, but may be temporarily suspended due to system maintenance, technical issues, or force majeure.
② The scope of free and paid plans (number of dynamic QRs, scan limits, etc.) is determined by the Service and may be modified.
③ Static QR codes store the information entered at the time of creation directly in the QR code image and cannot be modified after creation. Static QR codes do not pass through the Service's servers and function via the image held by the user regardless of whether the Service is operational. The Service does not guarantee the continued operation of static QR codes.
Article 5 (User Obligations)
Users must not engage in the following activities:
- Misuse of others' information or submission of false information
- Unauthorized use, hacking, or automated abuse of the Service's systems
- Registering URLs that violate laws or public morals as redirect targets
- Registering content that infringes on copyrights, portrait rights, or other rights of third parties
- Using the Service for spam, fraud, illegal advertising, or similar activities
If such violations are confirmed, the Service may take necessary measures including account suspension, termination, and deletion of related QR codes and data without prior notice.
Article 6 (Paid Services, Payment, and Refunds)
① Fees, payment methods, and usage periods for paid services are as displayed in the Service and on the payment screen.
② One-time purchases (e.g., 1-year access to 1 dynamic QR) are generally non-refundable after purchase. However, if usage is impossible due to the Service provider's fault, the period may be extended or a refund may be issued.
③ Subscription services (Pro, etc.) take effect from the next billing date upon cancellation, and no refund is provided for the already-paid period. If a separate refund policy is specified within the Service, it shall apply.
Article 7 (Intellectual Property)
Intellectual property rights for software, design, logos, and text provided by the Service belong to the Service provider. Users may use these only within the scope necessary for Service usage. Rights to content created or registered by users belong to the users. However, it is deemed that users grant the Service a license within the scope necessary for operation, improvement, and advertising.
Article 8 (Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability)
① The Service is not liable for service interruptions or damages caused by force majeure such as natural disasters, war, or partner service failures.
② Users are responsible for disputes with third parties arising from URLs or content registered by users, and the Service bears no liability.
③ The Service's total liability is limited to the amount paid by the user during the relevant usage period for paid services. The Service bears no liability for damages in case of free usage.
Article 9 (Contract Termination)
Users may terminate their agreement at any time by deleting their account. The Service may suspend accounts or terminate agreements after prior notice if users violate these terms, and may take immediate action when required by law.
Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any lawsuit between the Service and users shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.
